Mohun Bagan sign A-League top striker Jason Cummings
After a long wait for the fans, Mohun Bagan have officially today confirmed the arrival of the star Aussie striker Jason Cummings, who has signed a 3 years deal with the Kolkata's green and maroon side and will become the 3rd Aussie in the team.
After a season where the team failed to capitalise on the maximum chances that they created in the Indian Super League, Hero Super Cup and the AFC Cup, the team have been very busy finding top striker.
The club has officially announced the signing of Albania international striker Armando Sadiku a couple of days back and the team is likely to implement the 2 strikers formation with Cummings as the other forward alongside Cummings.
Cummings had a stunning season in the Australian A-League, guiding his side Central Coast Mariners to a terrific A-League Final victory against the Melbourne City FC with himself scoring a hat-trick. He ended the season with 20 goals and 6 assists in the A-League.
As for Mohun Bagan, previously under the identity of ATK Mohun Bagan, they won the Hero ISL Trophy beating Bengaluru FC in the Final after eventually finishing 3rd in the league table.
