ISL 2021-22 | Who won the match between Bengaluru FC and NorthEast United ? Indian Super League 2021-22

The 2nd day in the running that the Indian Super League saw 6 goals being scored once again as Bengaluru FC beat NorthEast United 4-2.

Yesterday only, in the season's first match, ATK Mohun Bagan defeated Kerala Blasters by the scoreline of 4-2. The same was repeated today as Cleiton Silva, Jayesh Rane and Prince Ibara was on target for Bengaluru FC , while NorthEast United's Mashoor Shereef scored a own goal.

The 2 goals for NorthEast United were scored by former Bengaluru FC striker Deshorn Brown and debutant Mathias Coureur. It was raining heavily in Goa, both the goals and the rain.

The first goal was scored by Bengaluru FC, even though it was NorthEast United who were dominant in the opening 20 minutes. Cleiton Silva scored the opening goal of the match at the 14th minute.

Bengaluru FC's winger Udanta Singh put in a great through ball after getting passed the defender, Cleiton Silva received the ball and skipped past the NorthEast United goalkeeper Subhasish Roy to put the ball at the back of the net.

Just three minutes later NorthEast United equalized through a goal from former Bengaluru FC player Deshorn Brown, who put the ball at the back of net after a brilliant pass from VP Suhair found Brown on-side.

Both the teams kept on attacking each others end. But, once again Bengaluru FC took the lead, this time through a own goal from Mashoor Shereef, who was trying to clear the ball, but due to rain, the connection was not right.

But once again the lead was short lived, as NorthEast United's ISL debutant Mathias Coureur scored his debut goal in the ISL. It was once again VP Suhair who was behind it, a cross from him from the right side was intercepted by Ajith but Coureur was there to get it behind the goal.

Bengaluru FC once again took the lead before the first half ended. It was Jayesh Rane who scored his debut goal for Bengaluru FC. A pass from the midfield and Jayesh Rane finishes it off from the edge of the box.

The first half ended with Bengaluru FC leading by 3-2 goals. The 2nd half was completely different compare to first half. Doors were hard to be broken during the 2nd half, as both the teams showed their defensive strength.

But, Bengaluru FC found another goal to make it 4 goals on the day for Bengaluru FC. And it was another debutant for Bengaluru FC, Prince Ibara who capitalised on Alan Costa's long ball and beat the goalkeeper on near post. Bengaluru FC won 4-2 against NorthEast United as a result of that.

With that, Bengaluru FC now find themselves 2nd in the points table, with the same point as ATK Mohun Bagan.

Bengaluru FC will next take on Odisha FC on the 24th of November, while NorthEast United will play Kerala Blasters the next day.
