Kerala Blasters 2020-2021 Season

Kerala Blasters 2020-2021 season was a very torrid one for them as they finished 10th in the league stage, behind Indian Super League's new boys SC East Bengal and ahead of Odisha FC under then head coach Kibu Vicuna, who was sacked with few matches remaining.

Kerala Blasters were high on expectation from their former Celtic and Norwich City forward Gary Hooper, who didn't live up to the expectation as he only netted 5 goals and 4 assists. He has gone back to join his former team Wellington Phoenix in the Australian A-League.

However, it was Jordan Murray who had the responsibility of scoring goals being the other striker of the team. Murray had a pretty good season as the Australian scored 7 goals and 1 assist.

Kerala Blasters and the new head coach has decided to part ways with both the strikers and is looking to rebuild again. Duckens Nazon is said to be on the shortlist of strikers by the yellow army.
