ATK Mohun Bagan is set to strengthen their midfield a tad more as the Green and Maroon brigade is set to add a midfield magician to the squad.
ATK Mohun Bagan to sign Marcelinho on loan, Brad Inman to join Odisha FC
According to the latest report on Goal India, ATK Mohun Bagan is set to add midfield magician Marcelinho in the squad from Odisha FC on loan plus Brad Inman who has struggled to find his form, will leave the club to join Odisha FC in return.
This season, Marcelinho has only appeared 8 times for Odisha FC and has garnered only 307 minutes of game time. On the other hand, Brad Inman has the same story. The Australian has featured only 7 times for the Mariners and has been on the pitch for only 168 minutes.
While ATK Mohun Bagan is fighting for the Champions League spot, Odisha FC is right at the bottom of the table. So it will be different objectives for both the players in their new club and except both of them to play well.
Marcelinho arrived in the Hero Indian Super League in the 2016-17 season when he signed for Delhi Dynamos, now Odisha FC. Along with midfield, he can also play in the left-wing position which ATK Mohun Bagan needs a lot at the moment.
While Brad Inman signed for ATK Mohun Bagan in the summer window after the Green and Maroon brigade paid an undisclosed transfer fee to the Aussie's former club Brisbane Roar. But the player has failed to live up to his last season's performance for ATK Mohun Bagan.
