Parthib Gogoi score brilliant goal from outside the box vs Chennaiyin FC

An exciting first-half was capped off brilliantly by NorthEast United FC star winger Parthib Sundar Gogoi as the Highlanders have taken a 1-0 lead in the Indian Super League (ISL) 2023-2024 match against Chennaiyin FC.

NorthEast United FC is hosting Chennaiyin FC in today ISL match at the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium. NorthEast United and Chennaiyin FC both suffered a defeat in their opening match of the league against Mumbai City FC and Odisha FC respectively.

Thus, it was always going to be a crucial match for both the clubs. The first half of was filled with all kinds of action, but none team were able to find the back of the net until the 42nd minute when a young and rising star Parthib Gogoi scored and gave NorthEast United the lead.

Parthib received the ball from midfield magician Romain Philippoteaux and then took a shot from outside the box that hit top right corner.
