Hero Indian Super League (ISL) club Jamshedpur FC has today officially announced the signing of the former Inter Milan wonderkid player Alen Stevanović ahead of the new Indian football 2023-2024 season.

Jamshedpur FC have today officially announced the arrival of their star signing of the season, Alen Stevanovic. The 32-years-old Switzerland born Serbian international left-winger is former Inter Milan youth team player.

Alen was a part of the Italian Serie A giant Inter Milan in the year 2009 and he was touted as one of the top youngster in the country, with fans terming him as a wonderkid.

Alen Stevanović has joined Jamshedpur FC for the upcoming season to play the under the coaching of Scott Cooper.

After this being termed as a wonderkid, Alen left Inter Milan the very next year in 2010 due to lack of game time. However, he did receive a Serie A winners medal for making one appearance for the team that season. He joined Torino in 2010.

However, his career didn't flourish at beyond that. He had several loan stints after joining Torino, starting with Toronto FC in 2011. He then joined Palermo FC on loan in the 2011 summer. He was once again loaned out to SSC Bari in 2014, Spezia Calcio in January 2015 and eventually joined Partizan in August 2015.

After a 3 year stint with them, he then joined Shonan Bellmare in 2018 in the Japanese league, however, he was released a couple of months later. He then joined Wisla Plock in 2019, once to be released in a few months.

In 2021, he joined Bulgarian club Tsarsko Selo and last played for the IMT Belgrad in Serbia, with whom his contract expired in June 2023. He has also represented Serbian senior national football team in 3 matches.

After last season's disappointments, Jamshedpur FC is looking to rebuild the team under the leadership of new head coach Scott Cooper.

Jamshedpur FC have let go of all their foreign players with only striker Daniel Chima Chukwu having an existing contract till 2024. The club has also signed former Chennaiyin FC striker Petar Slišković while Japanese midfielder Rei Tachikawa is also set to join the team.
