Hero ISL Final 2022-2023 Date and Venue Revealed: Indian Super League 2022-2023

The Hero ISL Final 2022-2023 Date and Venue has been revealed by the Football Sports Development Limited (FSDL) the founding company of the Indian Super League (ISL).

The Hero Indian Super League 2022-2023 season's final date was a huge question mark over the head of many Indian football fans. But finally, we have a date for the Hero ISL Final of the 2022-2023 season.

Hero ISL Final 2022-2023 Date and Venue Revealed

The date and venue for the Hero Indian Super League 2022-2023 edition's final was revealed on 20th February through the various Indian Super League social media handles.

The league officially announced Goa's Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Fatorda as the official venue for the Indian Super League (ISL) 2022-2023 final, to be played on the 18th March, 2023.

Hero ISL Playoffs

The playoffs consisting of 4 teams will begin from 3rd of March where the 3rd placed team in the points table will take on 6th place team while 4th place team will host 5th place team in the playoffs. The winner of both the playoffs will then take on League Shield Winners Mumbai City FC and Hyderabad FC in the semi-final, the winners of which will go on to play the Hero ISL Final.

Indian Super League 2022-2023 Points Table

Mumbai City FC became the Hero ISL 2022-2023 League Shield Winners after they topped the league table. With 46 points from 20 matches, Mumbai City FC became the League Shield Winners and qualified directly for the semi-final. Hyderabad FC joins as the 2nd semi-finalist having already confirmed that they will finish 2nd in the league table with a match still to played.

ATK Mohun Bagan currently sits 3rd with a important win over Kerala Blasters, who are currently 5th, Bengaluru FC separates both the teams, who are 4th currently in the points table. All the 3 above mentioned teams have also qualified for the playoff of the Indian Super League, however, their position is not confirm yet.

Odisha FC, who currently sits 6th place in the ISL points table, are in a direct competition with FC Goa to seal that final and 6th playoff spot. Odisha FC have 30 points currently while Goa have 27 points. Goa needs to pickup win in a must-win match against Bengaluru FC. However, that match could become meaningless if Odisha FC somehow manages to get atleast 1 point from their last league match against Jamshedpur FC on 22nd February.
