East Bengal FC have hit the market early this year as the club has been acting very welling in the transfer market. After agreeing a pre-contract agreement with Madih Talal, East Bengal FC have now agreed terms with Kerala Blasters FC striker Dimitrios Diamantakos.

The Indian Super League (ISL) 2023-2024 season is in its business end and the teams are now slowly slowly entering the market for the new season. But it has been all East Bengal FC so far in the transfer, who are very active and have recently agreed a pre-contract deal with Punjab FC's Madih Talal and now reportedly have agreed terms with Kerala Blasters FC's star striker Dimitrios Diamantakos.

East Bengal FC have been in search of a good quality striker to partner captain Cleiton Silva up-front. Despite signing Javi Siverio earlier in the summer this season, the Spanish forward couldn't deliver as per expectation and was loaned out to Jamshedpur FC for the rest of the season.

Dimitrios Diamantakos, who is in a great form this season, has received multiple offers from other Indian Super League (ISL) clubs, East Bengal FC being one of them, while also having an option to extended his stint with the Kerala Blasters FC.

But, according to rumours, the Kerala Blasters FC forward is looking for a change and East Bengal FC have been one of his likely destination for long. According recent rumours doing rounds in Indian football scenes, Dimitrios Diamantakos has agreed to an improved proposal, yet to sign contract papers, from East Bengal FC after initial offers failed to match his desire.


Diamantakos has been in great touch in the ongoing Indian Super League campaign and is in the run for the golden boot. In 15 appearances this season, Diamantakos has scored 12 goals and 3 assists. Last season, his first season in India, Dimitrios Diamantakos was in great touch too and scored 10 goals and 3 assists. The 31-years-old Greek striker joined Kerala Blasters FC from Hajduk Split in Croatia in the year 2022.

East Bengal FC have agreed pre-contract terms with Madih Talal

Since joining the Indian Super League, East Bengal FC have always been late to the transfer market which has cost them. But this season, the Red and Gold brigade from Kolkata has acted early and is working on multiple deals, especially with the AFC Champions League (ACL) 2 campaign in mind for next season. 

East Bengal FC is currently active for multiple deals with Indian players as well as foreign players. Recent report suggests that the club has agreed pre-contract terms with Punjab FC's French attacking midfielder Madih Talal for next season, beating several competitions.
