This would have been a great opportunity to reduce the gap to 5 points to league leaders Mohammedan Sporting Club.
Sreenidi Deccan FC's jersey number 7 William Alves de Oliveira gave the hosts an early 1-0 lead in the 5th minute of the match. The lead was further extended by Lalromawia before the end of the first-half as Lalromawia break-free behind the Churchill Brothers FC defence and headed home to make it 2-0 at the end of the first half.
Stendly Teotonio Fernandes' goal at 83rd minute and then a brilliant goal from Lamgoulen Semkholun at the 89th minute helped Churchill Brothers FC disappointed Sreenidi Deccan FC to draw the match 2-2.

William Alves de Oliveira gave Churchill Brothers FC Goa an early lead in the 5th minute of the match beating Churchill's Subhashish Roy Chowdhury in goal. The lead was extended by Lalromawia at the 39th minute to make it a 2-0 lead at half-time.
Churchill Brothers FC Goa, who struggled in the first half to even stitch a proper pass and despite getting on the attack, the team failed to play through ball to their strikers or strikers failed to beat Sreenidi's defence.
But the last 10 minutes of the match where the match changed. Churchill Brothers FC put constant pressure on Sreenidi Deccan defence, as a result, Stendly Fernandes got one goal back for Churchill at the 83rd minute. Churchill Brothers kept on piling the pressure, which resulted in the 2nd goal for the Goan club when Lamgoulen Semkholun thundered a shot from near the first post to score on the far side to make it 2-2 at the 89th minute of the match.
