After suffering a huge 5-0 defeat in their first pre-season match of the summer, Cristiano Ronaldo's side Al-Nassr have slipped to their 2nd straight big defeat in their pre-season friendly vs Portuguese giants Benfica.
The Saudi Arabia Pro League (Saudi Pro League) is set to begin from the 11th of August and teams are currently busy preparing for the upcoming season after Al-Ittihad won the last season of the competition beating Al-Nassr.
This coming season of the Saudi Pro League is set to be a massive edition in the history of the competition. While Cristiano Ronaldo joined midway through last season that garnered huge attention from the worldwide media.
The coming season will not only feature the great Cristiano Ronaldo, but some of the top names from the European football has joined the Saudi Pro League clubs that will make the league one of the huge spectacle in Asia and around the world.
Players such as Karim Benzema, N'Golo Kanté, Kalidou Koulibaly, Ruben Neves and now Riyad Mahrez has also agreed to join the clubs in the league.
Al-Nassr, who have gained huge popularity after signing Ronaldo, suffered their 2nd consecutive huge defeat in the pre-season Friendlies. First they suffered a 5-0 defeat to Celta Vigo, they have now suffered a 4-1 defeat against Benfica.
While Khalid Al-Ghannam scored the only goal for Al-Nassr, Angel Di Maria and Andreas Schjelderup scored 1 goal each and Goncalo Ramos scored a brace for Benfica. Watch the highlights of the match below.
