The Durand Cup 2023 group stage fixtures has come to an end and the draw for the quarter-finals of the prestigious Cup tournament is officially out that will kick-start from the 24th of August.

The Durand Cup 2023 was all in high octane Cup tournament consisting of a total of 24 teams including the Indian Super League, I-League and some foreign clubs.

The Group A ended with the East Bengal FC topping the group with 7 points and being undefeated in the tournament. Mohun Bagan Super Giant qualified as one of the 2nd best placed team from the group while Bangladesh Army finished 3rd ahead of Punjab FC.

The Group B meanwhile saw a tantalising end. While Mumbai City FC topped the group with 3 wins, Mohammedan Sporting Club finished 2nd and missed out on making it to the quarter-finals because of 1 goal. Mohammedan needed to beat Jamshedpur 7-0 or 7 goal deficit to overtake Mohun Bagan as one of the 2nd best placed team to qualify for the quarter-finals, but they won the match 6-0. Jamshedpur FC reserve side finished 3rd while Indian Navy finished 4th.

The Group C saw Gokulam Kerala qualify as group topper with 6 points while defending champions Bengaluru FC finished 2nd with 5 points after beating Gokulam in their last match. However, they have failed to qualify for the quarter-finals. Kerala Blasters finished 3rd while Indian Army finished 4th.

The Group D saw FC Goa qualify as Group topper with 7 points while NorthEast United finished 2nd with same point but they had low goal difference than Goa. However, they have qualified as 2nd best placed team from the group with Mohun Bagan from group A. Shillong Lajong finished 3rd while DownTown Heroes finished 4th.

Chennaiyin FC have qualified from the Group E after topping the group ahead of Hyderabad FC. Delhi FC third while Tribhuvan Army Football Team finished 4th.

Meanwhile Army Red (Indian Army) have defied all the odds and have made it to the quarter-finals finishing ahead of Rajasthan United FC after a draw on the last matchday of the Group F between the teams. Odisha FC reserve team have finished 3rd while Bodoland FC finished 4th.

Durand Cup 2023 quarter-final draw
The draw results for the Durand Cup 2023 quarter-final has been officially released by the Durand Cup committee. The 1st quarter-final match will see Indian Army take on the NorthEast United FC on the 24th of August. The 2nd Quarter-final will see East Bengal FC and Gokulam Kerala square off on 25th August.
Meanwhile, the 3rd quarter-final fixture of the Durand Cup will see FC Goa take on Chennaiyin FC on 26th August. And the big one will be the 4th quarter-final match between the ISL League Shield Winners and ISL Champions Mumbai City FC vs Mohun Bagan Super Giant on the 27th of August.

It will be winners of the quarter-final 1 and 2 who will play in the Semi-final 1 while it will be the winners of the quarter-final 3 and 4 who will play in the Semi-final 2 of the Durand Cup 2023.
