The third match of the new Indian Super League (ISL) 2023-2024 season will be played between the defending champions, the ISL Trophy winners Mohun Bagan Super Giant and newly promoted club Punjab FC, who got promoted to the top tier from 2nd division.
Mohun Bagan Super Giant would be looking to become the first team in the history of the Indian Super League to retain the Indian Super League Trophy after winning it the last time around beating Bengaluru FC in the Grand Final.
