According to a close source, Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane's elder son Enzo Zidane followed Indian Super League this season with a great interest and now he wants to play in India.
The sources stated, "He heard about Indian Super League due to several Spanish players playing in the league, he followed the league this season and is very much interested to play in India."
He also added, "Indian Super League is developing fast and gaining a huge fanbase especially in Spain and Enzo believes Indian Super League can help him reignite his career."
Enzo Zidane is the elder son of former footballer and current Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane and is currently a free agent since October.
Enzo Zidane holds French and Spanish citizenship. He has once represented the Spanish under 15 team while he has made 2 appearances for France under 19 team.
Enzo started his career with the Juventus youth team before joining Liceo Francés and San José youth teams. In 2004, he signed for the Real Madrid youth team and in 2011, the then Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho invited him to train alongside the seniors of Real Madrid.
He made his first senior appearance for Real Madrid 2016 when he came off the bench to replace Isco in a Copa del Rey match against Cultural Leonesa. He even scored in that match and the Los Blancos won the match 6-1 which ended in an aggregate score of 13-2 in favour of Real Madrid.
He then signed for Deportivo Alavés in 2017 and made his La Liga debut playing for the team in a match against FC Barcelona, which they lost.
He then signed for the Swiss team FC Lausanne-Sport in January 2018 after terminating his contract with Alavés. He has also played for teams such as CF Rayo Majadahonda, Desportivo Aves and most recently played for UD AlmerÃa after signing for them in January 2020. Months after, he was released by the club and has since been a free agent.
