'You won't need to Google it' Mohammedan SC investor confirms big investor coming ahead of first season in ISL

Mohammedan Sporting Club (SC) current investor and a member of the club, Dipak Kumar Singh made a big revelation about the investor of the club that will lead the team into their inaugural season in the Indian Super League (ISL) next season.

The third Kolkata giant Mohammedan Sporting Club, also known as the Black Panthers, won the I-League 2023-2024 title beating Shillong Lajong FC in their recent match. The club will lift the Trophy in their last league match against Delhi FC on the 13th of April.

The I-League win has also insures that Mohammedan Sporting Club become just the 2nd I-League club to get promoted to the Indian Super League (ISL) as I-League champion after Punjab FC did the same last season.

The Indian Super League (ISL) is the current top league in India where clubs need huge investment to be competitive in the league. And despite Mohammedan already having an investor that guided them to the I-League title, the club need a big investment to be competitive in the Indian top league next season.

One of the member of the current investor group, who is also the club's cricket secretary, Mr. Dipak Kumar Singh has announced that the club is on course to bag a new investor for its venture in the ISL.

Speaking to the XtraTime Bangla YouTube channel, Dipak Kumar Singh revealed that the club is in talk with a big investor who will join hands with the current investor group and run the club in the Indian Super League (ISL) next season.

"We will keep managing the team the way we are now. The new investor will have majority share and the whole world knows them, you won't need to Google it when you hear the name," said Dipak Kumar Singh on XtraTime Bangla.

Mohammedan Sporting Club under the guidance of head coach Andrey Chernyshov have had a great season in the I-League, that eventually brought them their first ever National league title.

As of writing this, Mohammedan SC have played 23 matches and have one match left. They have won 15 matches, 7 matches have been draw while they have lost only 1 match this season. Mohammedan Sporting Club's participation in the Indian Super League is yet to confirmed by the club due to some rules and regulations fulfilment, after which, the league will officially announce the promotion of Mohammedan SC to the Indian Super League (ISL).
